As you can see from the name, it's about California. Yes, not about the one where ligalise and Zuckerberg are, but about the one across the border in the south. The spit is almost 2 thousand kilometers long - the Mexican Peninsula.
We haven't been here ourselves yet, because last time we went to Mexico through the state of Sonora. Buying an inexpensive car or motorhome for travel

Baja California is a huge peninsula and the easiest way to travel is to have your own car.
Buying a car in America is EASY and SIMPLE.

We return back to the USA, sell cars and fly home.
